Q: How may times a year do you meet?

A: Currently our group of women meet once a year for our Impact Meeting. This is where we listen to our three nonprofit finalists, ask our questions and then vote.

Q: Are there monthly fees or dues to join your group?

A:Not at all. We simple ask each member to commit to a $100 contribution which is made at our Impact Meeting. All contributions are given to the winner of the Impact Award. All checks are made out in the nonprofits name or donated through the nonprofits website portal. Since our group is not a 501(c)3, we do not have a bank account.

Q: Do I have attend your meeting to contribute?

A: No, we would love to receive your donation however voting by proxy is not allowed. If you do not attend our meeting, you do not have a vote and miss learning about the nonprofit organizations that benefit our community.

Q: Who benefits from Power of 100 Women?

A: Power of 100 Women Pinal County was founded to contribute to the local nonprofit organizations located with in Pinal County.

Q: How are the charitable organizations chosen?

A: Any member can nominate an organization. Our executive team then vets each nominee which must meet current 501(c)3 qualifications. Shortly before our annual Impact Award meeting our executive team will draw for the three finalists live on Facebook. The three finalists must agrees to present at our annual meeting.

Q: How many times can a nonprofit win?

A: There is a three year wait period for every Impact Award winner before they can be re-nominated. However, the other nominated charities as well as the participating finalists may be nominated the following year.

Q: What are the benefits of joining your group?

A: Many of our members join our giving group because of it's simplicity. No monthly meetings, no club fees, no committee or project demands. For women with busy schedules our once a year meeting is a great way to learn about the needs of our local communities within Pinal County and give back with a meaningful and powerful impact.

Q: How do you finance your group?

A: Since we are not a 501(c)3 and 100% of all contributions are given directly to our Impact winners our group expenses are minimal. When we find ourselves in need of cash purchases, we rely on our executive team or member contributions. In the past, members have offered meeting locations, helped with photography needs, volunteering with set up at our meetings and baking goodies for our meet and greets. We welcome all talents to aid in our groups growth and prosperity.
